For me, there is nothing more beautiful than to give back to one’s fellow human beings and oneself while taking into account the environment that makes this wonderful life possible for us. However, it is often difficult to reconcile time, pressure, compulsive buying and a lack of creativity with the issue of sustainability. There I studied international business and began to discover the world. But besides a lot of joy and enthusiasm, I got to know the dark side of the carefree western lifestyle during my internship abroad in China. Daily smog, environmental problems and an autoimmune disease diagnosed a few months later made me rethink many things in my life.<\/p>\n

I wanted to realign my life and take a more conscious path. For this reason, I also reoriented myself professionally. At the beginning of 2019, I therefore launched fairschenkt.at. So that there is a place to inspire and support the people who share my love for sustainable products. As well as to be able to live my own dream of creative self-employment.<\/p>\n

I want to encourage people to slow down and appreciate the little things in life. This is my personal goal and also that of many small self-employed people whose products I offer in my store. They integrate a conscious work attitude and mindfulness towards our environment into their work and life process.<\/p>\n

With my partner and son, I live my dream of country life (near Lake Constance in beautiful Vorarlberg) after 10 years of big city life (Vienna) since the end of 2019. In the 3-country corner I have combined the advantages of Austria, Germany and Switzerland. Transparency<\/h3>\n

For me it is clear: nothing beats transparency. In our global world, it is often impossible to bring a 100% sustainable product to market. What we can be, however, as sellers is transparent.<\/p>\n

Where do the raw materials of the product actually come from? Who makes our product? The fact is: you will find imperfectly sustainable products in our shop, but we are 100% transparent and give you all the information. So it’s up to you to decide which products you want to buy.<\/p>\n

Sustainability<\/h3>\n

Sustainability is a complex, important topic. Where does sustainability begin? We mean: not just where the customer sees the final product, but in a healthy, long-lasting, fair supply chain with consideration for resources, people and animals.<\/p>\n

That’s why at fairschenkt you’ll find a mostly regional product selection – without plastic. Upcycling and reusable product components are also very important. Let us surprise you with what we discover for you!<\/p>\n

Social responsibility<\/h3>\n

At fairschenkt you will find products that enrich our society. They neither take from nature nor exploit people. On the contrary, we work with inclusive workshops, support social enterprises and prefer cradle-to-cradle processes.<\/p>\n

We see it as a responsibility to society to be mindful of what we offer our customers so they can consume mindfully without exploiting people and animals.<\/p>\n
